We Want Peace

Growing up is like going through a maze

You trying to find your way out

But you have snakes, humans, hatred, depression, racists, rapists, diseases, killers, poverty, and life blocking your way

You may say it’s a part of life

But I often tell myself it doesn’t have to be like this

If we could just get past the chains of repeated patterns

And come together not only for bad occasions but for the good accomplishments of others

Then just maybe we can be at peace

Lost in the mind is like dropping your compass and not knowing where to go

If only I had a map to find out my directed path

If we could just mind our business

But still have the need to not catch the blind eye disease when something affects us

I mean I could walk past you a thousand times

But what good would that do me if passing you meant that I only I receive the victory

See I’m just trying to get you to see

That the vision I see

That the vision I feel

That the vision I hear

Is far bigger than you or me

Peace
